| Our friend Frank... (do you know him?)... is confused what English name to choose....
He initially called himself Tiger, but people cannot associate him with Tiger Woods.... Now he has recently chosen Frank.... but people found it amusing....
He is thinking of choosing any of the following:
Patrick Richard Paul
Please help him choose his name.....
The name has one criterion... if he introduces himself....people should not laugh....hahahahaha
This is an online poll..... please help a very confused person | |

| Hey! In human factors, we change the product to suit users! So in this case, shouldn't we change the name to suit the person? Hmm.. let's examine his requirements: 1. He should like the name - e.g. Richard 2. The name should not contain the letter 'R' - else people will laugh Oh no, the two requirements conflict! how???? <Snap Fingers> Bingo!! Let's change Richard to Luichad!!! How?? Does Luichad sounds good?? It fulfills all the requirements!! | |

| well you know having unique names is all the rage nowadays. It was even a featured article in the newspaper some time ago. In fact these names are typically more memorable because they're seldom heard of. | |

| Why?Why?Why?Why?Why?Why? As a name, should be simple and memorable, why we pay so much time to think of it. I suggest Tom and John, very directly If want more meaning, Paul is OK, seems like Power... so you are.... | |

| This conversation makes feel like giving myself a nickname also. Moreover, my name has poor usability - I have a friend, whom I know for 3 years, still thought that I stay in Yishun. Hmm.. What should I call myself? From the above comments and my preference, the name should be: 1. Simple and memorable 2. Unique 3. Meaningful I'm thinking of calling myself Shin. It is simple, memorable, unique, and it actually sounds like the last character of my name: 训. Moreover, it rhymes with my surname - Shin Lim. Shin means new in Japanese, and it is also a Korean surname. Coincidentally, Yee Soon-Shin is the name of a Korean general in the Chosun Dynasty. How? Anybody else want to have a nickname? | |

| Hi, YSL, suggest that your name could be Yilsen or Nilsen, can? To reply the meaning of name, depend on yourself, what you explain adapt to yourself, not caring about others. This is the meaning... At least I think | |

| since Frank is a true man, maybe we should as well call him Truman... like the one in Truman's show... ps: this is suggested by realman, who is perhaps too shy to post here... | |
